This is a clever and simple device. I think you need to use it a few times to get it perfect but it is effective

Not easy to use
Ok but doesn’t produce sphere shapes easily. Used just one side in the end which worked ok but doesn’t work to produce beads. Cheap product.

Not fit for purpose
I have tried using different thicknesses of fondant but there is no way the beads will ever look like the photo. As you can see in my photo you are left with a lot of excess fondant that you have to trim off by hand which takes ages to do neatly. The silicone bead makers are so much better.Read full review...

Not worth buying
Doesn't make defined balls unless you put extra fondant In but then you are left with lots of additional bits of icing you need to trim off. Way to fiddly and time consuming so didn't use.

A useful cutter
Love this, it's easy to use and the pieces join seamlessly. I found best to just sprinkle with cornflower before adding fondant. Will be buying a bigger one.
