High Quality Clock with Great Features!
I was surprised at the size of this clock when I opened the box, and it only got better as I went, so I even ordered a second one for another location in my home. The quality and looks are Great, and there are two levels of brightness, bright enough to work as a night light. Atomic?
I was under the impression that this clock will auto-set once powered on. It still needs to be manually set to include you're time zone. There is no "signal" icon indication anywhere on the screens. So I'm not even sure if its receiving any radio signals. Other than that, this clock is very well designed with various display modes. It has a real brushed aluminum front face. The high-contrast characters separate well from the gray LCD background thus facilitating easy viewing from just about any angle. The perfect display for a large room or someone with poor eyesight
This clock is easy to read, and was a perfect gift for my 100 year old mother-in-law. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buttons are not hidden. For older aging eyes this is absolutely the BEST clock-thermometer that I have ever found. Not only is the time displayed mostly without frills in extremely large numbers, but the inside and outside temperatures are shown in very large format, without all the phases of the moon and other useless frills that so many of these devices have. My mom is 85 and in early stages of dementia, so was having difficulty keeping track of date and day of the week and was getting very confused. We tried various ways to help her, with limited results. Paper calendars don't help if she can't remember to cross off prior day.
