Big Diesel motorhomes use truck and coach components and they have different protocols on the data bus to those in cars. That means a car-type trip computer won't work. The Diesel version of the Scan Gauge is compatible with the industry standard truck Diesel protocol.

It seemed too good to be true, but it really does what is claimed. Installation merely required locating the diagnostic socket under the dashboard and plugging it in. That's it.

My Fleetwood Diesel pusher motorhome has a set of push buttons to control the transmission and the Scan Gauge sits on top of that in easy reach and sight.
