Love the double sided printing-saves paper. Put a stack of 24 sheets in the ADF loader and all are copied without sticking together or missing. This is our seventh Brother MFC so we are happy with it's capabilities and the price since the ink like the other companies are pricey. Do wish it picked up ink and pencil better off what you want copied even after all the adjustments are made. Haven't had that problem with the other Brother MFC's. Good for the money!

The best thing about a Brother printer is that they are cheap to operate. I do a lot of research on ancestry.com and I like to print pages when I find important information rather than going back to look for it later or just downloading. When I review the material and deem it significant, I can scan it directly to my computer in an uncluttered file. The generic ink works well in this machine and the wireless connection lets me work out of an easy chair. I also do a lot of photo work and this machine does an excellent job of printing high quality photos suitable for framing. I bought this to replace an older model and the price was well under $100, which fit my budget. It seems to print fairly fast and you can use it in "black" mode to save ink.Read full review...

It works-somewhat

It copies photos but leaves stripes on 8x10's. Cannot connect to computer so will have to get a computer person to come in which offsets costs. I believe it will work ok once the bugs are worked out or at least I hope so. I don't believe the guy that sold this printer is responsible or caused the problems.Read full review...
