TCM 4K BLU-RAY 100% WORTH BUYING

1974 classic TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (TCM)
has been reissued again in 4k UHD this time
i don't own a 4k player so cannot comment on PQ as i have the 2014 second sight blu-ray reissue
which looks amazingly sharp/clear for 4k restoration HD transfer 9.7/10 PQ
the sound mix is also very Good with different audio options, 7.1, 5.1, 2.0 master mixes
plus usual optional English subtitles.
anyway Disc 1 is 4K UHD Disc ABC coded
Disc 1 EXTRAS 4 audio commentaries carried over from previous blu-ray vsn
Tobe Hooper, Gunnar hansen, Daniel pearl plus others, plus optional English subtitles
Disc 2 is standard blu-ray Disc region A locked
has over 3 hrs of extras, a new 2022 retrospective Documentary -80mins runtime
LEGACY OF TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, new 2022 interviews with mainly Horror film critics
and the Director/s of the TCM sequels/remakes, tragically no new interviews with remaining cast & crew, how can there be as Tobe Hooper, Gunnar Hansen, Marilyn burns etc all passed away now
plus all previous Doco's carried over from 2014 blu-ray reissue
THE SHOCKING TRUTH upgraded to HD transfer, FLESH WOUNDS Doco
other interviews with Terri McMinn plus others
Deleted scenes, outtakes, Blooper reel all in HD quality now
plus usual Theatrical trailer, the 2014 4K reissue Trailer, Tv spots, radio spots, Photo Gallery
for those fans that still have the 2014 blu-ray reissue and don't have 4k player as yet.
still keep the 2014 blu-ray in my opinion picture quality is Hit/miss compared to 4K UHD
this new 4k reissue is worth buying just for blu-ray Disc alone.
as i see the 4k disc is the Bonus in the set, 5 stars for it 100% worth the cashRead full review...
