Best Phanton Backpack on the Market!
I fly everywhere for my job. This backpack allows me to carry everything that I need in order to fly my DGI phantom three standard quadcopter all over the United States! It will carry all my equipment battery chargers extra props RC controller filters you name it it carries it! Up to seven batteries if you leave one in the bird, although not recommended. Extremely comfortable to wear and fits well in all overhead compartments. It even comes with a cover that you can use to protect it from the elements. I use that at the beach so that the sand does not get into the pack. I would definitely buy this again!!!Read full review...

It is just a bit tight
For my liking although it is well constructed, has many compartments but the ONLY drawback I have is for the controller with a replacement iPhone/pad device has a bit of a time finding the space. I have manuveured the space by taking out the top padded compartment so it can lay a bit cross ways. I cut off several straps so I like the fit as a back pack. Very cool backpack
I purchased this backpack for my phantom 4 so I wouldn't have to carry around the grey box it originally came with. I just got it today and tried it on. It's roughly the size of a small hiking/camping backpack but is so comfortable. Great all-around back pack for your drone and dslr
Just awesome, best backpack for your buck period.
I managed to fit:
- Canon 600d with two lenses and charger
- Ipad Pro 9.7 and charger
- Phantom 4 Pro with RC, nd filters set, charger, sd cards, propellers and spare, 3 batteries, cables
- Dji Osmo Extension Rod & Tripod (Side Pocket)
- And the Dji Osmo camera handle gimbal in it's case but very snug and the osmo charger.
I could also fit a laptop along with the tablet in there, but I don't currently have one, but the space is there.
Straps for waist and chest and raincover.
Highly recommended, very well constructed, well padded.
My only notice is that the phantom 4 pro batteries don't fit well in the backpack's battery pockets, manufacturer should have made them a little bit bigger (~1cm).

Since the X-Star is only slightly bigger than the Phantom 3, I took a chance & won. When using the Ultimaxx configuration for leaving the propellers installed & exposed, it fit as expected. When using the middle zipper so the propellers are concealed, the X-Star fit best with the top of the quad against the back of the pack.
