Gm door spring compressor
The first time I used this spring compressor the bolt turned in its lock, so I was unable to loosen the bolt to remove it. The spring still compressed made for a dangerous situation to remove the spring. The clamp is made of a light weight metal that bent as it clamped which Boud up and caused the bolt to strip.Read full review...

GM door spring tool.
A friend described it as a large salad tong with a bolt through the center with a nut on one side. You will need this to get your door spring removed to get your door pins out to rehang the door.
Quality steel heavy duty nut and bolt.
Easy to use. I would recommend using a ratcheting wrench with the nut. 12mm.

Bent out of shape
Using as described, the door spring bent the tool out of shape. I finally resorted to using a bench top vice and zip ties to compress the spring to put it back into the door.
