Excellent replacement
I had another manufacturer's DVR but it was struck by lightening. I removed the hard drive from it and placed in this one and it discovered all of the cameras instantly. This DVR is so much better than my original. It's very easy to configure, the phone app works great, and I installed the viewer on my PC at work so that I can watch the cameras whenever I need to. Great replacement for my old DVR. APP works great.
I bought the servailance DVR without hard drive. I found a hard drive for less than $150 & it was easy to install. This DVR was easy to set up. I replaced a SWAN DVR which never worked well (playback & app rearly worked...). The ZOSI system hooked up to my cameras (which were ZOSI, but came with my old system. The ZOSI app is great. The set up of the DVR is mostly on menus, but the documentation wasn't bad. I now have a working security system, which is a great relief.Read full review...

Install a hard drive, plug it in, and get to surveilling! Actually has a better picture with our cameras than the DVR that came with our cameras had!

I ordered this to replace my old Swan system , I like this one much better. I installed a 1 terabyte hard drive I absolutely love this system. The motion detection works well every feature works as it should and advertised.
