Only pain killing gadget I've used that actually works!
Although I had to return this particular one because it was faulty, I did buy another one and I'm amazed at how good it actually is. I've had lower back pain for decades and am on the strongest pain killer medication patches available, but still get flare-ups. Nothing works, TENS machines, massage machines, you name it, but lying on this for 20 minutes eased my back pain so much that I could hardly feel it.
For the results I got it's an absolute bargain. With the 3 heat settings you can use it just to keep warm on the colder nights or for the full treatment. Totally safe, it's even machine washable and has an auto cut off after 90 minutes so no worries about falling asleep while using it. Only slight complaint is that it's quite small, but at 100w it's not even expensive to run. Very impressed, absolute no-brainer. Beurer are a German brand and these are made in Europe so find risk saving a couple of quid on some cheap Chinese brand, these are not expensive and worth every penny for the relief they give you. Like a comfort blanket but smaller
I am glad I bought it, but also glad I did not pay the full price. In agreement with some other reviews I was initially disappointed that only the middle of the heat pad heats up, leaving the edges barely warm. Superb Heat Pad
I bought this for my husband who recently had major spinal surgery but that for the last few months has been suffering with being very cold at different times of the day and night. It not only heats him up and keeps him warm whenever this happens but also the heat reaches all his extremities so that he can sleep, so the timer function is fantastic!
