First attempt at crimp connectors, never going back
So far so good using the crimp on, solder center conductor connectors. They are much cleaner, easier to install, and appear to have just as long a life.

crimping only works so well. Crimping does not keep the wire onto the connecto, can be esily pulled off again. It is the soldering of the ceter wire to the male insert that prevents the joint from falling apart. Crimping gies the union an unpealing look of a deformed ring around the cable.
