Easy fix

I bought this tank after I found the fuel lines crumbling in my 25 year old trimmer. I didn't know what size lines to buy and then I'd also have to buy a new filter. For the price of this tank I got new lines and filter included , no messing around trying to get new lines in tank this a easy fix. Read full review...

Gas tank for homelite

new part number for old tank.....works great and fitment is perfect......
cons: it holds a lot less gas
the shape is totally different from the old one which was a rectangle...
if u need a new tank don't think twice....comes with filter cap hoses....just plug and play....
it does not look awkward works great fixed leaky hose holes

Good replacement.

A little different from the original one but it fits and works well. One of the other comments was that the overflow tube was a little short. Mine was too but there's adequate tube in the gas tank. I simply pulled it out about another inch and it was adequate to connect it. Filled it and fired it up. Ran fine. Quick delivery. Good packaging.Read full review...

Replaced an obsolete part perfectly.

Fuel tank fit my old ST-175 Homelite string trimmer perfectly, no issues. Shape of the tank is different, actually better than the original design.

Better alternative to just replacing cracked fuel lines!

My Homelite string trimmer had been sitting for a number of years, and the fuel lines got brittle over time and cracked / broke. Rather than going through the trouble of changing the fuel lines (feeding them through small, tight holes, getting out all the pieces of the old lines, etc.) it made more sense to just change the whole fuel tank... Tygon fuel lines, a nice white tank, a new fuel cap, and it was just plug and play (just had to remove the rear engine cover securing the tank in place). Between the new tank and a new primer bulb, my trimmer now runs like new!Read full review...

Ryobi Weed Eater fixed

Very nice tank to fix leaking fuel lines and cap. Was easy to install and same as oem.

Works.

Tank came with the fuel filter. Only needed to loosen 2 screws to remove the old and add the new, 5 min job. I reconnected the fuel hoses, hit the prime bubble and it started up like new..
