I used it in an older Macbook Air with an SD card slot as a way to extend the internal SSD which is only 128 GB. The write speed is 30 MB/s pretty much all the time which is the minimum write speed for the UHS Speed Class 3.

So it's not that great since it just meets the minimum speed requirement for the UHS Speed Class 3, but it does what it says except for that deceptive write speed. Maybe it works better in cameras and the like. Read full review...
