What a beast!
It was important for my manix 2 to be in s30v steel. I use my knives for work and i cant fault this steel. S30v is a definite step up from CTS-BD1 steel which other manix 2 models are made of. For $10 more, its definitely worth it. Ergonomics are absolutely spot on. Solid, quality build. Super smooth. Just a perfect knife. Combo edge comes in handy for cutting rope etc. I went with the g10 stainless steel liners version because the trade off for extra strength was worth the extra weight, for me. There is a lightweight FRN version available with minimal steel liners. Best price by far for this particular model/steel/g10/combo edge.
I wasnt a huge fan of the manix when i first saw it, but once it was in my hand it has definitely grown on me to become one of my favourite knives.Read full review...
