Great machine
The light is a great feature enables you to see all the dust.
Like the built in crevice tool and also easy to empty.
Only downside is it on the heavier side.

Significant flaws, particular scratching of wooden floors and lack of manual mode control.
The soft head left visible scratches on my (new) dark hardwood floors and was otherwise 'clacky' and unpleasant to use, I found the lack of ability to control the suction (only auto mode available) annoying, the motor head kept stopping on a thinner rug, and emptying was messy and awkward. Dyson's lack of concern regarding these issues (particularly the scratching of the floors) was notably poor, to the point that I'll never buy another Dyson product again, despite being up until now a long-term customer. I have returned my machine under eBay's return policy as Dyson was unwilling to honour their own return policy directly when not purchased from their website.Read full review...

Love my Dyson Gen5. My 12 year old thinks it’s an alien space weapon. He likes to vacuum now thanks to the machine. It was shocking to see the amount of hidden dust from my carpet.
