Sully is interesting
I thought this movie may be boring especially about someone called Chesley and would be all about the landing.
It was engaging and realistic. Tom Hanks was good as usual and ably supported by Aaron Eckhart. It was mainly about the investigation into the landing (it was not a crash) of the plane on the Hudson River. The landing was told in retrospect.
Bird strike caused the problem with the plane's engines and the subsequent investigation appeared to be looking for someone to blame - Sully. He was not put off and was quite articulate and incisive in his defence.
Clint Eastwood directed it and as usual he was on top of his game.
The other actors were good and I recommend it as an entertaining movie.Read full review...
