Armour for your expensive glass

Other makes may be considerably cheaper but even so, this is not that expensive and the size would suggest you are protecting a very costly lens.
What you get from the Lowepro brand is a guarantee of quality and therefore peace of mind.
Speaking specifically about the Nikon 200-500 F5.6 lens, it literally fits in here like a glove - and importantly, that's with both the lens hood AND the tripod foot mounted. It's not so tight that it won't zip up easily either so you won't be over-stressing the zip.
The straps that go all the way round can be undone completely so enabling you to thread them through anywhere such as a utility belt or camera bag - providing multiple options for attaching. The shoulder strap as shown in the picture is also detachable.
The padding and protection provided is of the highest quality and worthy of protecting what could be thousands of pounds worth of lens.

Great protective holder.

I am a fan of lowepro gear, so well designed and they a case for nearly everything camera wise. All of my gear is stored in Lowepro bags. The only issue is that they have too many pockets and spaces you can loose stuff! I have the S&F system as well as the Nova reporter bags and the Vertex 200AW back pack, this holdall fits all of them and the lens is protected well.Read full review...

Almost perfect!

I bought this case for a Canon 300mm f2.8L and it fits perfectly. Build quality is outstanding and it's well padded. The only thing thing which stops me awarding five stars is the shoulder strap, which needs to be a lot wider, considering the weight of the lens it's designed to carry.Read full review...

Perfect case for Tamron 150-600mm lens

I bought this case to protect my Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 USD lens. It fits perfectly with the tripod foot fitted to the lens, and provides lightweight but extremely robust padded protection. The loops, handles and strap offer plenty of options for carrying it around with you. Overall quality is typical of Lowepro products - excellent.
