IDE = good. SATA = iffy
This let me run two IDE optical drives in windows 10 on my brand new Intel Gen 8 300 series motherboard.
I had no problem using the IDE drives as soon as I set my bios to work with legacy add on cards. I couldn't install windows with it, though. Used USB for that.
The SATA ports are iffy. The eSATA takes way longer than it should to activate it. I don't like that at all. The internal port was reading as an electable SCSII drive and I didn't like that, either. I won't be using either of the SATA ports. I dind't buy this for SATA anyway...
I really wish that the IDE port was facing up and not down. IDE connectors aren't right angles! I may replace this some day with something that's more user friendly.Read full review...
