I’ve watched these types of docos before but none have been clearer than this one! What really hit home was the comparisons with hidden sugar in products. For example: Damon sits there with a dish of cooked chicken saying he could add ‘this’ teriyaki sauce to his chicken OR *gets the spoon into his CSR sugar bag and starts spooning out tablespoon after tablespoon of sugar onto his chicken* or he continues I could eat this..camera goes to what once looked like nice chicken but now has an insane amount of sugar granules in it. An entertaining film to realise the severity of sugar damage to our bodies
I love the context of the film. I purchased it to show my children and as always watched it myself first to check it would be suitable seeing as it was a PG rating. I decided there was too much nudity in it to show my children. The overall message is good and would be ideal for children especially in primary school age except for that one scene which could have easily been left out and the message would be just as strong. Health changing
After watching this movie I knew why I was at least 6 kilos overweight ( knew that anyway but this confirmed it). Once the information was embedded in my mind it was easy to a void sugar. Lost 4 kilos in 5 weeks ..no exercise, not that I don't believe I should at least take a walk. I will g et around to that.
