Good, but flawed

This has the feel of a product that hasn't quite finished its development cycle and was released before it was ready.

Setting it up can be an issue as no instructions in the box, and it's also fun and games trying to work out which app you need to install to get it working on your computer. Tom Tom's website is really quite badly designed and I spent some time trying to find what I needed.

Once up and running, it's OK - although the body composition feature works perhaps 1 in 10 tries, and it sometimes does not fully sync to the computer if you prefer using one of these instead of a app on your android or iphone. Other features seem to work quite well and I've got used to it now.

optical heartrate monitors are not reliable anywhere else besides resting.

if you're interested in even remotely accurate Heartrate monitoring get a chest strap. the discrepancy between real and reported HR is staggering for anyone trying to stay in specific HR areas,(you're better off using your finger to count your pulse)
Step meter is ok, software for your cellphone is passable. the body composition is consistent, so you can pinpoint your progress.
