Great sound, decent power consumption, good reception.

I bought a used Relay G50 system and the transmitter fell apart on me. The clip would not hold onto my guitar strap as I jumped around on stage. The transmitter would drop and the cable would rip out repeatedly. It got to the point where the cable would no longer stay in the transmitter properly, so I bought a replacement cable. The port on the transmitter was so abused it wouldn't hold the new cable, either. The battery door also got really week and I had to tape it shut (probably from all of the falls).

I bought this new transmitter and also bought a leather pouch that attaches to my guitar strap to hold the transmitter. Not a single drop and the transmitter is working perfectly!

The standard

I have lost two of these - both times to user error, and replaced it each time. This is the standard, against which all others should be judged. The biggest compliment I can give is that I simply don't have to think about it. It. Just. Works. The steel case of this model make it tough and durable.
The only negatives (not worth marking down a star) are 1.)be careful of the cable. The cable supplied is not the most durable, but replacements are available (look for ebay user baldybass: top quality, and great service) and 2.) Remember to watch the battery indicators on the receiver (showing battery strength of this unit). Battery life is great, but if you ** don't ** think about it, you can be eventually taken by surprise.

Sounds like a cord

We use several of these at church and in our weekender's traveling bluegrass Gospel band. Always work great, battery life is excellent. We run four and five at a time without issues. The weak link on these units is the factory-supplied cable. I have used several competitor's units in the past that did not work as well, even though the Line 6 is lower priced.Read full review...

Great little system

I've only had this system a short time, but it does everything I need it to do very well. Sturdy build, lightweight transmitter. Good range. Great sound. I'm no longer tethered to my rig, and I'm loving it!Read full review...

Line 6 TBP12 Transmitter

I have two other units that work great...Multiple units helps with guitar changes. Each unit can be used with one receiver, one channel. You only need to have one transmitter on for it to work. multiple units on at the same time will cause signal cancellation.Read full review...

A1!

I've been using wireless systems since 1987. This is by far the best overall for me. I own 4 of them (2 for home, Canada), and 2 for when I tour oversea (Europe), which is twice a year. That should be enaugh, but I'll carry on, lol! Never had a problem. They're rugged, and they work as a charm. Highly recommended! It works for me.Read full review...
