review of JDR14 LED: good but could do with common glass cover
It's the only LED spot with flat font, E14 socket, 50mm diameter and 70mm length I could find. All fine ,but it misses a common glass cover on the front, exposing the dies with LEDs and phosphor coating to dirt and grease, which in the long term may prove disadvantageous for use in extractor hoods where a lot of fat can accumulate. I have glued an old glass cover I had from the former halogen light over it.Read full review...

Perfect fit and bright light
The seller provided full, accurate bulb dimensions (unlike some other suppliers) which helped with choice. Length makes a perfect fit for my cooker hood to ensure fumes do not escape around bulb and instead go through the filter. Extremely bright light instantly.
