The Sonoline B Fetal Doppler met my needs for feeling assured that all is well with baby. I was able to find baby's heartbeat at 11 weeks. Now I can check in on baby when I want to, without having to wait for my next appointment. At my appointment for 12 weeks the doctor pulled out the same model!
The device comes with the wand, gel and instruction booklet. You can listen through the built in speaker or attach headphones or another speaker if desired. The volume control is important, as you want to turn it down when moving the wand as that can make very loud and irritating sounds. Be careful when using earbuds, as you can easily bump the wand or the baby can kick it and you'll get quite an earful!
3 program settings are available, although I usually don't need the manual setting. I stick with either 1 or 2 as I have found those to be enough to get an estimate of baby's heart rate.
I can easily record the heartbeat using an app on my phone. I have not found a way to record directly from the device. Having a recording is great for sharing with friends and family who live far from you.
I highly recommend this Doppler for any expecting mom who is either nervous about her baby's health or who wants to connect with baby on a regular basis at home. Once you have heard the heartbeat it is easy to know what you are looking for, and as baby grows you will find the beat growing stronger and moving about the womb when baby kicks or turns. Doesn't work well for tracking in your sleep.

This pulse oximeter does basically what it's supposed to with exception to tracking sleep. It WOULD do this if it would stay on your finger. It doesn't clamp to the finger tightly enough to stay on your finger well enough to make it through normal tossing and turning of sleep. Easy to use - really!

This product is easy to use and with a little practice, you'll be able to listen to your baby's heartbeat whenever you want. There are some good youtube videos online that will help you get started. I started using mine at 10 weeks gestation and had no problem locating baby's heartbeat. The bottle of gel is small, but you don't need very much (and when it runs out, regular aloe vera gel works just fine). Sometimes it's hard to "hold" the heartbeat long enough for the unit to register the heart-rate, but for me, the rate is not as important as the presence of a heartbeat. Great for night time SPO2

Insurance wouldn't refer me for another sleep study after previous family doctor set BiPAP settings too high. With help of new doctor I've been able to titrate my settings so I'm getting better sleep and my AHI is dropping. I initially tried a different CONTEC monitor but that keep falling off my finger at night and I had trouble pulling data to review. I ordered this and it's been a high difference. The watch is a little bulky, but the fingertip monitor hasn't fallen off once. I'm also able to pull the data first attempt everytime now. Little $ for versatile tool / Survivalist

Granny is 100 (2.2016) and her lung Dr has provided us with exercise that helps to keep her breathing right and lungs strong. Slip it on your finger, then relaxingly breathe deep and watch as your oxygen level (known as *sats* or saturation) goes up. We have used this same systems' pulse rate to have family members admitted to hospital. Normal pulse rates are between 60-80. Slipping it on Dad's finger one day and his was below 40, popping up and down by a point or two, he was admitted and ended up not only staying but going into rehab after that. When it is under like that, pace makers seem to be recommended in the long run unless or until a person reaches certain ages. Another family member was placed into the hospital when the pulse rate was within seconds popping 109 97 114 102 88..... this seems to always be a medicinal issue and sometimes they have to put the heart back into rhythm with a small shock. To be able to monitor your family with such an inexpensive and small tool is incredible. Our home first aid bag holds one of these, we keep one in any room where there is an ill Elder; along with a blood pressure cuff (small arm and large arm band) and of course a thermometer. I am not a Doctor, I am an over 60 care taking child with grandchildren, neighbors, parents, Grandparent and others in my life that I care about. Love it!

I bought this product because I recently suffered a mild placenta abruption that put me in the hospital for two weeks..my baby's heart was having decelerations and I had to be kept on a fetal heart monitor the whole time for monitoring. When I was released I purchased this product to continue checking his heart rate every two hours to see if his heart was staying strong as when they let me go. Can't beat the price for a pulse oximeter. Does a great job to measure oxygen saturation in the blood and your pulse. Very handy for aviation where getting into the higher altitudes (but not flight levels) means monitoring your oxygen saturation is important. 14 weeks and love it

I didn't use the headphones I use my Bluetooth speaker it's crazy and amazing to hear another life inside of you, I had to listen to my own heartbeat to tell the difference between the baby's . Worked great after 17-18 weeks!

At first I thought this product was a waste because I bought it at 16 weeks and I couldn't really hear anything but at 17 weeks I could hear a kick. At 18 weeks I was able to hear the heartbeat and see the heart rate! As a tip, if you put the Doppler wand to your heart you will hear what the heart beat sounds like, the baby's may not be as loud as first but then you'll hear it.
