Good idea, well executed

Adds 2 USB charging sockets to a standard 13 amp outlet. Great idea. Shelf for smartphone- also great idea. Nicely executed by Schneider without making it into a big deal. Other brands do awkward stuff like removing the switches to make room for the USBs - or moving the switches to the outsides of the plate.

On the more technical side, 2.1Amps is good amount of power output for demanding batteries. All the others I found had 1Amp limit shared between the 2 USBs. This makes charging faster - particularly for high capacity items like tablets or external battery backs.

I have fitted the Lisse range of sockets and light switches in my newly refurbed dining room and kitchen and love the look of them. The solid curved lines are much better than the standard rectangular white sockets and the general build quality of the outer shell and the internals is excellent.

BTW - the phone shelf is completely optional. Its a close fitting, well made frame that you can just leave out when fitting if you want a standard profile socket.Read full review...
