BEWARE - High failure rate! They won't honor the warranty for international customers!

Most of the CV boots split immediately after a few miles, the ones that won't last a bit longer they will fail within a short time frame - 100%! Don't try your luck! Even if you decide to fit these driveshafts replace the CV boot with a HQ aftermarket part (which adds an extra and unnecessary cost). If you fail to do so, the boot will split and the CV will fail shortly after. Also, you're at risk of having your brakes failing, if the grease passes on to the disc brakes.

I must add that it's not uncommon for the CV joints to break.

J&R won't honor warranties for international customers (non-UK residents) as they state that they won't ship replacement items overseas.

The pictures speak for it's quality and stand by what I've reported above.

Aftermarket driveshafts

These seem like decent quality (aftermarket, non-OE) driveshafts. Came well packaged; CV joints smooth with good rubber-type gaiters, firmly clipped; ABS pulse rings ready-installed. Time will tell their true quality, though a 2 year guarantee gives good piece of mind.

These were cheaper than their like-for-like at local motor factors, at trade price.

Professionally installed for a customer, seeking most cost-effective repair, to 2000 Peugeot 106 GTi 1.6l 16v.
