The Bose SoundLink Mini II is a great little piece of gear. I was looking for something small with long battery life. True - the battery isn't as long as some, but the features and sound quality of this little gem more than outweigh a slight compromise on battery life.

Excellent portable speaker

The description says this is a potable speaker. I haven’t tried it in a pot but I’m sure it would be fine. And also assuming they don’t mean it’s safe to drink, it is an excellent speaker. It’s quite small (that’s good) but heavy (also good) so it’s a very convenient solid piece of gear. It connects to my iPhone 5S effortlessly and by using the iPhones EQ I can get a very good sound. Bose Mini Soundlink and Soundlink II

For such a tiny item, produces excellent sound quality - clarity with deep bass response with little or no distortion. Compact design makes it highly portable. Soundlink Mini II has added functions (such as answering an incoming phone call). Battery life per charge is not fantastic, but that does not bother me. It might be little but ...

I bought one of the SoundLink II Mini a couple of years ago.
Sound quality is impressive for a speaker this size. Very happy ... So is my wife.
After continuously moving it from one part of the house to another I decided it'd best to just get a second one.

Great sound from a small package

Sound is fantastic from a small speaker which may be a few years old but sounds better to my ears than most of the new speakers even from Bose.

Dock works really well to move it around the house and chargers quickly as well. Battery life is not as long as competitors but long enough for a few hours of listening.

Only downside is the bluetooth range which is a bit lacking. Drops off at about 10m with 2 walls in between. But its small enough that I carry it between rooms.Read full review...

good battery and great sound

I had a phillips one that only lasted a few months. They couldent replace it so I found this one. I used Bose speakers when i was a rodie and some 901 home speakers. Always been impressed with the sound. Am totally amazed at the quality coming out of such a small unit. The rubber base and low profile design also suits me when i take it on the yacht.
