Lightweight, many features, ease of use

I've been using a previous version of this item, USB 2.0 to be specific, for many years. I upgraded to this version for a laptop, because the built in Wifi is basically junk. I used an external antenna in hopes of higher bandwith, but no luck. Got this delivered, & connected. Did not have to instal drivers, or use the included bundled software. Bandwidth is much better, and responsive. Device is well balanced. Connection for antennas is good & strong. No having them fall off or over after taking out of the box. If you need something like this, get one while you can. As this item is discontinued & replaced with a different version, completely different desgin.

The only minor thing, the included USB cord is eighteen inches. So, not very long. An extension would remedy this easily, if you want to spend a little more money.Read full review...
