Not for my cat (I don't have a cat)

I didn't buy this cat litter for my cat, I bought it to make green sand for metal casting.
The litter needs to be ground up to be very fine powder and then mix with very fine sand at a ratio of 1 part litter powder to 9 parts fine sand. Mix it dry very well and then slowly add water from a spray bottle, mixing as you go so that all the sand is just slightly damp.
When you can squeeze the sand into a ball with your hand and it stays together and can break cleanly, it is ready for use. If your hand has sand sticking to the palm the sand is too wet and needs to be dried out. This is important, because if too wet the mould can explode when pouring molten metal into it because of the steam build up.
Green sand is expensive to buy ready made, but making it yourself is easy and cheap. Cat litter is the important ingrediant to bind the sand together.

Great cat litter

This is a great cat litter - non-smelling, stays together and my sister's cat won't use anything else.
It is reasonably priced if you buy from E-Bay.
