Ribbon Cable CDX-M850P
The Sony CDX-M850P has a motorised face plate the opens to reveal the operating buttons and an additional display. This causes the ribbon cable that feed the faceplate to become damaged overtime and eventually spits causing the faceplate to stop working. The replacement ribbon cable allows a solution if you have the ability to strip the headunit and it only takes 10 minutes to fit.

Sony CDX-M850MP CD Player
Excellent piece of equipment, with a motorzied front which flips down at a touch of a button. Stands out from the other cd players its just a blank front compared to loads of buttons. Downsides are that you cant clip it out to take with you so its not left in the car like most headunits although it is black so does look like there isnt one there anyway. Anought is in the day time if theres lots of light and the headunits off you can see the screen does shine purple where it normally lights up although it makes up for it at night when its turned on it looks amazing.Read full review...
