Just plain works.
Worked great with an old laptop I could install the miniPCIe adapter to. Only criticism I can think of is that the adapter mounting is too long. Most use cases of miniPCIe use the shorter cards and not the full length card. I could probably cut the pcb to fit but I'd rather not. Besides that it worked splendidly.
