Watching 1000s
This movie is SOOOO darn good!! It was all I hoped it would be and I had very high expectations. I had waited a long time to see it and I was in no way disappointed. Emily Blunt who is so beautiful was stunning the way she made herself appear so down and out and although it's not an all-star cast, it doesn't need to be. The storyline is all it needs and the characters are so true to life it's easy to imagine the real lives of these lost & dissatisfied people could really exist. I love it so much because I can relate to their positions in life in which they find themselves trapped and wishing for another time and another life. There was a time in my own life where I too was down and out. I had similar problems and I used to watch people's homes wistfully from train windows like some kind strange hobby. This film was suspenseful, engaging, touching, haunting, heart wrenchingly sad, thought-provokingly scary in a way that only real life could ever be. It is not a far-fetched Hollywood film. It's something that could truly happen in real life and it portrays a side of the US that is not a shown often in cinema. I loved it so much so that I am buying it now rather than waiting until it reduces in price. I could not recommend this film higher if you enjoy the sort of story line that shocks you and sticks with you for days on end. A brilliant film!!!Read full review...
