Good early solo pop/folk album by Big Big Train Frontman.

It didn't impress initially, but on second playthrough it improved. This isn't the prog-style work of David Longdon's Big Big Train but a solo work preceding joining the band. It's decent singer-songwriter material that reminded me of Boo Hewerdine in style. It's pop with folky elements and pleasant, with David's fine vocals throughout. Not as good as his more recent solo album Door One or his collaboration with Judy Dyble, but if you like his work it's worth buying. The bonus disc of live versions of the album is OK but inessential.
