I hate when this happens.

Reading the listing for this item, I was impressed. The speakers claim a good amount of power and super frequency response. There are micro speakers, i.e. Bose, Altec, Polk, that are indeed so small but sound big. These speakers are not in that class. They are truely tinney sounding junk. I have NEVER heard such a thin sounding speaker.
First, lets talk power. The listing claims 180 watts. Uh Huh. No way, no how. Perhaps 2 x 2 wats RMS at 400 cycles, ( 1 volt peak to peak at 400 cycles input) They also claim a frequency response of 5 to 15,000 cycles. Here's another UH HUH...No bass at all.I put them one a test rig and was able to sweep 400 to 5000 cycles but the sweep was not flat sounding, less than AM Radio.. I have crystal sets (ya know what those are?)that sound better.
There is a headphone jack on the control speaker. This actually sounds as thin as the speakers. The amplifier in this set of speakers doen't cut it.
In closing, these speakers and their respective listing are misrepresented and the kind of item that gives buying electronics on Ebay a bad name. My advise is to find a pair of speakers you like in a big box store, THEN try to find them on Ebay. I just found, and ordered a nice set of Altecs.

When I received this item one of the speaker was not attached. I repaired it though. Sound quality is like lessening through a tin can.

Good Speakers Shorted by Cables

The PC speakers by iMicro are a good inexpensive product that performs well. It's shortcoming is that all the wires and the power cable are too short! This means that you can't separate the speakers much more than to place one on each side of your monitor and the power outlet had better be on the floor right under the speakers. Cheap pience of nothing

Terrible. My 10 year old computer's speaker is better than this. I turned it up and there is hardly any volume. Don't get it unless it is free and even then, think about it.

As advertized but I hoped for more

The product was as advertized. I brought the product for mp3 speakers in a shed. I should have went up in price. The speakers were very inexpensive so the quality reflected this. dont buy this speaker

got theses in the mail and thought mad a good perches plug them in and turn them on cant here them had to turn the vol up all the way on my laptop to get just a lil sound out of them i thought they where a 180 watt but there not my 5 watt speaker is a lot louder to me they ant worth the price of the p.o stamp Read full review...
