Microphone perfection
I record fishing videos for YouTube regularly, and I had been using the built in microphones for a long time. I noticed when I started filming tournament videos, that my sound quality was actually really bad, and I could not hear my partner in any of my videos. I found this microphone was being used by lots of big fishing YouTubers, and decided I would try it out. The sound quality on this mic is perfect, I even set it down recording, walked 20 ft away and the mic still picked up my voice beautifully. The only downside with this mic is the 9ft cord, as it can get in the way, especially if you're like me and using a head mount GoPro. I found if you simply run the cord down the back of your shirt, clip the on/off switch to your pants pocket, and then run the mic back up the front of your shirt, through the neck hole, and clip it to the front of your shirt, you get good sound quality and the cord stays out of the way.Read full review...
