Always carry a spare as you never now when your screwdriver slips and you bust one of these.
There are times when you simply MUST have a few of these, so they are very handy to have in your parts pack! Myself, I ruined one on my little mini scope, tossing in a standard cap as some recommended online just didn't do it, so I ordered a few, still have a couple of them left but they have a habit of finding their way onto my breadboard from time to time, and add to the electronics fun.Read full review...

Surprisingly good parts!
After trying some of the look-alike alternatives sold here and elsewhere, I was not expecting good parts. The others had one lead of an alloy that wouldn't solder, and although the trimmers looked like these MuRata parts, they were not. The 'real things,' on the other hand, are top quality.
