The Bucket Boss Shop Apron

Good for what it is designed for: Keeping sawdust, paint, stain, etc. off your work clothes. This is reasonably priced and is a light canvas material with handy pockets. Because of the lightness of the material, the apron either folds up small or hangs on a light magnetic hook. The padded shoulder straps are probably not needed but are a nice touch of comfort.
The apron hangs down while you are standing but has a tendency to fold up on itself if you sit down and will expose your pants to whatever you are working on. Definitely not for welding or any heavy industrial use but it is easy to don when you are involved in a quick project.. Read full review...

Not really a one size fits all apron

This is a well made apron made of a good quality duck that should protect from saw dust and glue. That is if you are of medium or small build. I am 6' 5"tall weigh 350 lbs and am 50 " around the waist. This apron states it will fit up to a 52 inch waist. Adjusted to its largest size the apron only just slips over my head and the waist strap then sits just at my nipple line with the arm cut outs that should sit along the side of your body riding in my armpits. The front pocket is so small I can only just force my hand inside.

For me the best thing about this apron is that it clearly shows all of its deficiencies and will allow me to place it over a piece of canvas and mark out an apron that is wider and longer and will fit me. I have given it to my wife who will be able to wear it while potting plants.

Bucket Boss 80300 Super Shop Apron

I, 6' 2" tall and this apron covers me to just above the knees to provide good protection from sawdust. It seems sturdy with plenty of pockets but not so many as to load you down with too much weight. The padded shoulder straps are extremely comfortable. I have probably 8+ aprons in my shop made of many different materials, cotton, denim and ballistic material. This is my new "favorite" apron due to comfort and workability. durable apron

I use this for a woodcarving pouch type apron. The material is a lot thicker than regular canvas aprons. they last twice as long for me.

great apron for use in shop

This apron is well made and fits very well. It will help keep clothes clean when I work in shop which the "boss" will like a great deal. Plus I can take it off before coming into the house and that will also make this a great addition to the shop.

I have two!

Didn't know I needed one until my wife bought it for me! Now I have two, one for the wood shop and one for the electronics area. I am a luthier and generate a lot of sawdust, which would get on my clothes and contaminate everywhere I went. I was also constantly misplacing pencils, erasers short rulers and such. The pockets on this apron keep those items and the like close at hand. The padded straps are SUPER, stay where you put 'em, and the whole thing is very comfortable and TOUGH! I briefly had a leather apron, but it was too stiff and lacked pockets, not to mention the string-around-the-neck wasn't very pleasant.
