The good and the bad.

Enhanced motion sensitivity are better. This allows a better command and control of Wii Sports games but i believe it has a slight, extra drain on the batteries and sometimes has what i call "jitters" where a game might not respond as it should. The extra length is something of a draw-back and i hope to see future controllers with the technology built it. Also retro-comparability would have been good for playing other games. Because it doesn't have the retro quality, there is extra wear and tear on the controller.

And let's be honest, the extra price....a bit overblown.

I've been a games since 1980 and been through a lot of consoles and this is one of the best i've come across in some time.

I agree with an earlier review that states this is but a "step" on the way to controller perfection as Nintendo has more to do.

Does what it should, no connectivity problems

There hasn't been an instant in which connectivity between the motion plus adapter, and wii remote was loss. This is a big change from the OEM adapter I had previously that constantly loss connectivity with the remote. In sum, it's best to get products for your Wii with the official Nintendo seal, massive difference in quality.Read full review...

Wii MotionPlus Review

The hardware is a big step forward, but it's not the end of the road. If I had to put a number on it, I'd say this was 80% of the way there to delivering true 1:1 motion detection in the hardware. Unless Nintendo releases a Wii MotionPlusPlus, I don't expect that it will get all that much better in this generation, hardware-wise.

However, even with the slight limitation that the hardware platform has, the software can make up with it by allowing you to do things that cater to its strengths and avoid its weaknesses (like detecting which side of your body you're pulling the controller towards). Sega's tennis implementation, for example, is one that needs refinement, whereas swordplay and frisbee and basketball—for the most part—are fine.

But if your question is if the Wii Motionplus is fun, it definitely is. It's the closest you'll get to 1:1 motion gaming until either the Sony or Microsoft motion solutions come out in 2010. Go and give Nintendo some more of your money.

Great product, great Price

Great product, I had gone to some of the major stores and looked on the internet at some of the more game orientated stores only to find out the unit was either on order or the store was sold out. Great Price, I not used to paying for things at discounted rates , maybe feeling sort of cheap or something I guess. I soon came to realize I could USE more bang for my buck so once I synced up the price and the store I surprised my youngest son and his friends and my friends and started kicking everyones' butt at whatever they wanted to play. Know I can play games with my kidsRead full review...

Somewhat disapointed

No more than 2 months ago I bought the Wii Motion+ firstly thinking about the Virtua Tennis 2009, but up till now i couldn't grasp the trick in the game that would make it soooo realistic.
But as I started to play the Wii Sports Resort I got the real deal with the Wii M+.

I tried then another game, the Tiger Woods 10 and dispite the fact I'm not too familiar wth golf games, I wouldn't mind playing it again.

So I'll be looking forward for new games compatible with the Wii M+ to see if it was really worth.

Sets things in motion

The Nintendo MotionPlus for Wii addon is a next generation peripheral to enhance you Wii remote's precision. With supported games, it adds a whole new dimension of control to the motion sensing technology feature of the Wii. With it, the Wii remote is able to register more precise gestures made by the players and by this way it contributes to realism. No more couch tennis. Start using your body more often and burn those calories!Read full review...

Works as expected.

Great price, shipped fast, worked as expected. The only con about this product is the 10 minutes of educational videos that Nintendo makes you watch before actually playing the game.
