Great unit, great price

We bought this unit because my husband is a truck driver, and needed help with directions at a new company. The unit has been solid, and pretty easy to use, but last week stopped working. We called customer service, and they walked us through some trouble shooting, and we were able to get it up and going. (software download, no cost)There was no wait time on the phone, and the CSR was very eager to help. Directions to docks have been amazing, but heading to restaurants- that is what he delivers, he has experienced a couple of restrictions that did not show up on the GPS. Overall we are very pleased. We did a few weeks of research on truck units, and this had the best reviews. We found the best price on ebay.Read full review...

Save your money and get one with newer maps.

Save your money and buy a newer one - this one is very outdated. The screen is small for starters, second it randomly sends you down roads that are not meant for trucks - one day your route will be one way, next day it changes. It's just not accurate.

Performs as expected. Nothing beats a good map.

I am a truck driver. I bought this to help navigate mostly in NJ and NYC. The directions my company provides are often wrong. I have been using it for about a week now and it gets me where I need to go, but sometimes tries to send me on restricted routes. On one occasion, it tried to re route me as I was approaching my exit. Haven't figured that one out yet. Works as advertised!

I have had 4 of these units over the years. Never had a problem with them. The routing system is great if you drive a tractor trailer or large RV. It has never sent me down a road that I was not legal or had a low clearance. The HAZMAT restriction works well too. The only reason I have purchased 4 of them is because they have kept improving them over the years and one of them grew legs and walked out of my truck.Read full review...

Love my PC Miler 450 GPS!

My husband uses the GPS in his rig, he's a new 18 wheeler driver. He loves that he can see the screen without using his reading glasses and that it gives excellent directions. The only thing he doesn't like is that its hard to hear unless he turns the radio completely off. We highly recommend this product.Read full review...

Good truckers GPS.

1st GPS and I love it. It's great for truckers needs..i.e. low underpass, NO H/C roads, weight limits. Plus can be used in car as well.
