Best no fuss not so smart smart phone for the older generation.

I needed a simple easy to use phone for my elderly mum. One with good old fashioned big buttons and not one with those LED screen she hates.
It also needed to access the internet so I could download WhatsApp and a few other web pages.... not easy in todays large range of smartphones with all the bells and whistles the rest of us crave.

FINALLY we found the OneTouch P9 and what a simple little gadget it is. The battery life is just amazing, days and days and talk time till your voice goes horse!

An "old school" phone with modern features.

I had one of those iphone look a likes...but being a "senior" wanted one that was easy to work. This one had ALL the features for me....making phone calls, getting phone calls in, doing text messages and bluetooth...really that's all I wanted...It has lots of other features on it if you wanted them. It's very light and easy to have in a pocket.
This is my second Alcatel 2045x...the first being damaged beyond repair. I liked the first one so much I bought the same again. It does all that I want it to do....and the price off eBay....was a bargain.Read full review...

Does the job for me.

Tested and works fine with both 3G networks for me (optus & telstra setups in Gold Coast region of SE QLD).
It does not have all the bells and whistles, but it does send and receive calls and text messages which is what I expect from a "phone".Also I prefer the green and red buttons, in my job a touch screen is a massive functional problem for a phone!
This phone will not support the 4G network, but for the low cost I will be happy if it functions until the 3G network is phased out in the future. Good value.Read full review...
