I have never been this underwellmed
For starters the box looked good. But the unit had fallen apart in transit. Yea that bad. Also the instructions and the box didn't match brands and the unit itself looked like neither. I carefully screwed the optics back in the damaged, inadequate plastic thread. Oh yea and the instructions were definitely second hand. You know when along the folds the paper gets fluffy through repeated opening and closing, and the factory stains are not just from General Tso's Chicken. Anyway, I digress. Using the unit unassisted, without the ir light is useless. Under starlight I can see better with my carrot vision. Assisted with the ir light is limited by the lights range which is about 20m. And your carrot vision won't work again in that eye for a long time as the image is so bright it gives your position away to anyone within 800mRead full review...

Works but price reflects quality.
Pretty standard Gen1+ night vision, doesn't amplify light so much as it allows you to view light in the IR spectrum.
Functions as described, the tubes aren't great quality but they're cheap, not much you can do about that.
The head mount is not very comfortable, so I tried using it on an ABS FAST helmet, unfortunately adjusting it to my eye is almost impossible without a lot of fiddling, so I can't recommend it for hands free.
It's also not quite true 1x, so your depth perception won't be great.
That said, it works fine as a cheap spotter for up to 50m, so it's not totally useless.Read full review...
