Fast, well-priced CPU for home or gaming use
Running on BIOS "Auto" settings, the 11700K performs well, especially when doing large recalcs in spreadsheets, where all 16 cores are stressed. Not too impressed with the overclocking abilities though. It may be my motherboard (Gigabyte Z590i Aorus Ultra), but the PC just reset when I tried a higher clock speed (and I have a very good CPU water cooler). Good value given its price and clock speed that can top over 5GHz standard without overclocking.Read full review...
