Depresssing
I thoroughly enjoyed Doodles for Boys and Doodles for Girls, which I recommend because they are fun to complete. This book, on the other hand, has two basic problems. The first problem is that it is printed on paper that bleeds through if you are using an ink pen. Even pencil shows through a little bit. This isn't true of the previously mentioned books.
The second problem is purely subjective, but I find that if you are over the age of 60, the old age jokes become tiresome and even depressing. There seems to be only one possible answer to most of the doodles, so the creative process of coming up with a clever completion to the picture is eliminated.
But the size of the book and the paper it is printed on are problems that could have been avoided with a little forethought and a little less concern over profit. Give me a Doodles for Boys or Girls Book 2. These books worked.Read full review...
