definitely not for the faint hearted

bought this to upgrade from my old heuwi 521g
the set-up was fairly straight forward with the installation cd but once set-up it kept dropping the connection every few minutes. I eventually managed to solve this by going online downloading the latest updates and reconfiguring the settings on the login page. Up till now it has performed reliably enough. The wifi range seems quite adequate(no dead spots in a large 2 bedroom flat)But to sum up it seems a lot of hassle for little gain as the speed is not much different to my old routerRead full review...

It works, it's cheap and it does the job.

It works, it's quicker than the old one, although I'm told it's not the latest technology, and it was good value. And broadly speaking it was easy to set up, except one tiny tick-box on the set-up menu I missed and didn't spot for a couple of hours. Purchased this router,as a replacement a lower rated Netgear router.
Found it easy to set up, functionality is excellent, range is as expected and has improved performance of my wifi network considerably.
This was a Netgear Reconditioned product and as with previous purchases of such products from Netgear it has performed without problems.

Wanted a product with a pedigree. Needed a product that a simpleton like myself could install. This product does this and more !!

Much more flexible than other home hubs, allowed us to use an IP camera with port forwarding. Very reliable internet connection and good design.

Upgrading modem router.

It works very well , my previous Belkin modem router was G rated , my internet speed was 2 Mb on a good day the NetGear has pushed it up to 6.8 . I had to have a little help setting it up .I am very happy with the result .Read full review...

very fast lots of features but sometimes i have found that the signal drops now and then but my previous dg 834g never did but this could be due to isp
