My experience so far with this product is a good one.

I bought this camcorder for recording my children, now 7 & 12. They grow so fast I thought it would be nice for catching those special memories from home as well as any functions for school. The thing I like the most about this product is the fact that it pretty much fits in the palm of my hand and isn't bulky like the old camcorders. I'm torn for liking the fact that it puts it directly onto a dvd - I like that the olny problem i'm having is finding the dvd's that will actually play in my home dvd player. The disc fits directly into the dvd player (there is a spot for the smaller disc, like in your computer) but it won't play them. The only other thing I dislike about the dvd is you can't find them having a longer period of time than 30 min, even if you get the 60 min dvd's they're double sided which makes it a pain when trying to catch those special moments having to take the time to flip the dvd over. I can't really compare this product to others because this is the first time I've owned anything other than the old style camcorder but all in all I am pleased with buying it, I just have to try and figure out a way to work out the little kinks I talked about.Read full review...

Definitely More Bang For The Buck

Love the way it fits in the palm of your hand. Navigating through the touch screen programs are virtually self explanatory. What I did not quite like is the special made cable (seems like the cable is only meant for this sony unit) and if you lose your software the only place to find it is the Sony website (for a cost of course). Camera is easy to use..Parts are readily available...The only drawback is no memory card...Excellent picture and awesome zoom!!!!

I don't like reading instuctions. This camera is so easy to use. You pop in a mini dvd, record and recording is ready for viewing on dvd player.

the handycam is awesome its nice and compact all features are right at your finger tips and when bought on ebay you cant get any better of a deal worth every penny i spent highly recommend

I like that the product was used only a few times. I also like the fact that the seller was including a few DVD discs. Another plus was that it was Make an Offer. My first offer was too low so I made another offer, which the seller took. Plus the seller was honest about not accepting my first offer.
