House Number for Recycling Bins

Swindon Council now require the house number to be written on every recycling bin. There can be three (or more) recycling bins per house (metal cans, glass bottles, paper, etc.) We looked at stick on numbers but they are too expensive; they are at least £1 each number for an appropriate size. Three bins, each with two sets of two digit numbers comes to £12.

I thought that the stencils might be hard to use but they are very easy to use.

We used white, car tyre, marking 'pens' (available via eBay) rather than an aerosol spray can of paint. The result was excellent. They were so good our neighbours have borrowed these stencils and marker 'pens' to do their own!Read full review...
