2 Fast 2 Furious

I only bought this movie to complete the quadrilogy (or tetralogy) for the "fast and the furious" movies that I had already owned on dvd. I also bought this one because my original copy was in fullscreen, and I wanted to upgrade to a widescreen version of the film.

I personally bought this movie to complete a collection, and was honestly my least favorite of the 4 movies for a variety of reasons: the cars looked too tacky compared to the cars in the first, and tyrese did not satisfy me as vin diesel's replacement "sidekick" character to paul walker's brian o' connor.

I didn't feel that the movie quite deserved an "average" rating, and "good" doesn't quite hit it on the head, but I'm going to run with that one just because.Read full review...

Vin Diesel opted to not appear in the sequel to the film the shot him to stardom in the first place, The Fast and the Furious. With the character of Dominic Toretto out of the picture, 2 Fast 2 Furious concentrates exclusively on the latest exploits of undercover agent Brian O'Connor, played by Paul Walker. In addition, with director Rob Cohen passing, producers have added a dash of credibility to the sequel by hiring John Singleton to helm. What does completely remain from the first film is the presence of fast-living underground street-racing gangs. Moving from Los Angeles to Miami, O'Connor is looking to redeem himself after the events of the first movie, so he again goes undercover to infiltrate another group of thuggish car enthusiasts. This time around he's enlisted the help of ex-con Roman Pierce (Tyrese) and fellow agent Monica Celemente (Eva Mendes) to bring down Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), an importer/exporter who heads up a massive drug trafficking operation. I owned this movie already because it is one of the top F&F movies. I bought this one to replace the one that has been lost. The Movie is AMAZING

My husband, my daughter, and myself, love these movies, it's got great action, great cars, and Super actors, I recomend this movie and all the others that go with it. It's a 4 movie story, that keeps you guessing, and just a hint watch the xtras it gives you hints and time lines between each actor and previews that follow each movie. Also watch the 4th before the 3rd, for some reason the producers wanted to trick the viewers and put the 3rd before the 4th to make sure we where paying attention. I recomend these for all ages my daughter is 2 and loves the color the noises, and the cars.Read full review...
