Well made roof rack and easy to install. Unfortunately our Tucson has a moon roof which barely clears the bar and could scrape the glass if the rack was loaded. The biggest issue is the wind noise.

The cam gear is the weak point in the lo...

The cam gear is the weak point in the lock actuator and the cause for failure nearly 100% of the time. If you are DIY ing this replacement job it means you have a level of mechanical competence and you can save yourself a good deal of money by repairing instead of replacing. This repair kit includes quality replacement parts I can confidently say will last the remaining life of my E91 wagon. Be sure to search for YouTube videos on how to open the actuator since BMW parts are over-engineered and knowing where the tabs and clips are will make life much easier. There are several variations on the same actuator and finding one on the actual replacement of the gear is nearly impossible. The process is simple but be sure to take photos of how each cam, latch and spring is assembled because you have to remove them to get to the gear and putting it back together is the tricky part.Read full review

Does its job!

I attached a cargo carrier to the crossbars for a trip. I drove about 15 to 18 hours at high speeds with the carrier and the crossbars did not move. Good product!

Cheap, but also cheap

The bars themselves are not very high quality and the rubber grip that comes with it to attach to the tops of the bars seems especially questionable. There are no instructions for how to assemble, so I had to Google it and found a video online. Overall, I guess this is what $150 pays for?Read full review

Good product, will not fit without modification.

The unit does not fit the 2007 Mercedes Benz GL450 and has to be cut to fit in between the OEM rails.
It works great after cutting it to fit.
