Good product but not perfect.

I bought these LED headlights as an upgrade to my halogens on my Generation III (1996-1999) Ford Taurus SHO whose original lights had always left a lot to be desired. Following the instructions on how to install these LED lights is key to ensuring a good fit, though I did have to rotate the bulbs 180 degrees from their original recommended installation so that the wide side is now down and the narrow side is now up to get the low and high beam to work properly.

Pros: Good light output once I realigned the headlight angles. You have to do this with LED bulbs so that you don't inadvertently blind oncoming drivers. Nice cool white beam. Installation, again, is easy and straightforward, even if I had to rotate my bulbs 180 degrees.

Cons: Really not that much different in light output between low beam and high beam. All I noticed is that when I activate my high beam, it seems like it turns off the low beam and activates the high beam LED chips, so what happens is I have a beam of light that shines marginally higher but not brighter. The brightness of the LED light beam is better than the original halogens but I wouldn't say that they were significantly better. Also, my car lost its ability to flash my high beams with these bulbs installed. Not exactly sure why, even though the regular high beams does work.

Overall, it's a nice upgrade, easy to install, good cool white light output. Time will tell how durable the product is.

(Updated 5/2023) Sadly one of LED bulbs had one of its two LED banks go out on me earlier this year. My best guess is about 125 hours of usage over the 3 years (12k miles) of ownership, which is about on par with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs which is what these LED bulbs had replaced. Definitely nowhere near the 30,000 hour lifespan that the manufacturer claims for it to be.

Installed on 19 F-350.

Excellent fit and quality. I now use these on 3 trucks with good results. Some fan noise only with engine off is it noticeable.

Great Balance Between Price and Performance

Application is a 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited. I had previously done my fog lights with Lasfit LC6 lamps, and were so impressed by how much brighter and whiter they were, that I just had to do the headlights as well.

I chose the LA Plus as a good balance between price and performance. If you want the ultimate value, go with the LC6, but you will sacrifice headlight beam. (But they're ideal for fog lights that are wide dispersion anyway.) For the ultimate in brightness, go with the LS Plus, but it comes at a cost.

For my Jeep Liberty that takes 9007 dual filament bulbs, the LA Plus LED lights have two rows of LEDs that mimic the placement of the halogen filaments, maintaining a decent beam pattern.

Brightness is about on par with the stock halogens, but have that white 6000K light that make road signs pop.

Overall, for the cost of a pair of Silverstone halogens, I'd much rather have the LA Plus LEDs.

First photo is low beams, stock halogen on the left, LA Plus LED on the right. Second photo is high beam. Third photo is my 2003 Jeep Liberty with LA Plus headlights and LC6 fog lights.

Best lamps at best price

The difference with regular lamps is day and night, but not all the brands are good. I try another ones and it didn’t go well. Some just stop working after weeks. I have this one for a year now and the quality is really good plus you can see 10 times more than halogen light.Read full review...

Very good buld and would reccomend them

It's really to early to tell about the longevity of the bulb but I can say they are very bright and have a good pattern.
