good after a little modification
The cold shoe screw is too short, unscrew slightly to install any accessory and the clamp falls apart along with the two small springs. Swapped it with the umbrella screw which is slightly longer, carefully drilled the clamp to accomodate the extra length, now everything is good. At this price point don't expect it to last, i'm only using as a quick solution for small lights and gear that doesn't weigh much.Read full review...

Flashgun Speedlite Bracket and Umbrella Holder - Plastic Construction
Although this is of a lightweight construction, predominantly plastic, it was purchased as an addition to the metal variety I have.
The price was cheap in comparison and, as you would expect, so is the construction and its apparent strength. The securing and locking screws that tighten onto the plastic are not secure, the hot shoe clamp is catching on protruding screws from the mounting plate beneath so will need some work to remove these faults before use.
Overall, I am somewhat disappointed with this item and most likely, only use it in desperation when all else fails.
You can get the metal type for around three times the price but delivery is from outside the UK.Read full review...

Seemed a great price but Poor materials used.
Seemed like a great price but very poor build materials. The metal screws which clamp the flash in place stripped the threads of the plastic with very little effort. I ended up having to use epoxy and some metal nuts just to make them functional. Spend more on metal clamps and save yourself having an expensive failure which could result in damage to your speedlights.Read full review...

I bought it at a very low price to help with some indoor macro lighting these types of bracket come in very handy, always worth space on your workbench.

B Type Hot shoe Flash Flashgun Speedlite Bracket Umbrella Holder Light Stand
Flash clamp/cold shoe really flimsy plastic - wouldn't trust an expensive strobe to it. Metal would be better and probably more expensive!
Umbrella clamp difficult to tighten sufficiently to clamp smaller diameter umbrella shaft without wilting/downward movement taking flash out of alignment with centre of brolly. Larger diameter tightening knob might improve things.Read full review...

Plastic rubbish
Not worth bothering with .. it's too cheaply made and won't last any serious and the socket underneath
that is supposed to fit a standard lighting stand spigot is badly designed and wobbles. Not recommended.Read full review...

light, strong. cheap
Mostly plastic, lightweight, seems strong. Not all the injection-moulding flash was cleaned up on my example, but what can you expect for £2!

Both broke.
Ordered two. One arrived broken, the other broke as soon as I tried to attach it to a stand. Very cheap plastic and I wouldn't trust it to hold my speedlight. Real cheap trash.
