The replacement (it is not a "genuine" part) delivers more power; it is rated 6000 mAh (instead of the original 2000 mAh). If you're wondering if this will work with a Dyson V7 we've been using it for a few days and not only helps the vacuum stick-cleaner work better, the charge seems to last longer.
Fairly straightforward replacement. Requires the removal of three (Phillips-head) screws, that's all.
