Good brushes for smaller jobs.

I could have bought just one small brass brush, not for rust removal, but to clean the spark plug in my motor mower as I read that brass is recommended for plug cleaning. But at for the price of six brushes it was illogical not to buy the pack as I know the others will come in useful at some time. In fact, just to be able to write this review I tried the steel brush to clean some rust and paint off a small metal object and it was fine. It didn't lose any of steel from the handle head and did what is supposed to do. I also tried the nylon brush to remove a little acrylic paint on a pair of trousers. That also was OK.

Because of their size I wouldn't try to clean a large area, but for smaller jobs they will be quite adequate. Apart from wanting a brass brush, I do like to have tools such as these available for the odd occasion I need one at which time it becomes well worth the money and I can get on with the job rather than have to buy at the time and await delivery. Cheap product.

The items are very cheap, cost, and this is represented well. The brass brush lasted 30 seconds of use, poor. I really wanted to pay more for a better product, but it was not available. I could have easily counted the number of bristles, but was annoyed, so did not.Read full review...

This product is a con. The wire heads are not as stated, but spray painted, notably the 'no' brass bristles. Use at your peril as it will leave a greasy paint residue which is very difficult to remove.Read full review...
